The girls are not very fond of pants or jeans really but I do love kids in them. It´s funny how my Instagram friends were admiring my kids always wearing skirts or pretty dresses as theirs only want to be in pants. And I told them that I wish mine would wear them more eagerly. So I decided to try and went to look for jeans that they might like and found these cute ones. I wanted to share them as they are super comfortable and stretchy and the model looks cute on a bit thinner legs too. It also has a rubber band in the mid section to tighten up around the waist. But most of all I really liked the happy colours they came in. Bubble Gum got the yellow ones and Cotton Candy the pretty light blue. These are not really jeans, they are called skinny twill trousers, but they look like coloured jeans to me and are very very cute with just a t-shirt and a cardigan ( those cable knits for example) or with a floral shirt or a pique shirt ( a polo).
Now I´m curious! What do your kids love to wear and what do they hate?
Mine love skirts and dresses and not so much pants ( I keep trying and these were not that appalling to them). For my great disappointment Cotton Candy hates collars of any kind ( sob sob sob) frilly or peter pan or even just a regular rugby shirt. And she also dislikes button up shirts. So practically all the things I would love to dress her in! She is not a big fan of winter shorts either so just think of one of those cute outfits I love for the girls, velvet shorts with stockings or knee high socks, a button up shirt with pretty peter pan collars and a cardigan on top. Sooob ( that is me pretend crying)! But cheerio, at least they wear the pretty dresses and skirts I have for them and like all things girly like hair bows and such! Bubble Gum would probably wear any old thing if she did not hear her sister denounce them out loud. Her big sister is her fashion icon obviously so there we go, no shorts on her either if she hears her sister in the morning. Luckily she let´s me dress her in most things though and only really dislikes things that are tight around the neck ( even scarves and coats buttoned up make her squirm with discomfort so we tie them very loosely on her). I know most of you think I don´t let my kids dress the way they like but I give them a lot of choise and freedom in their decision really and only very rarely decide for them completely and insist they wear something ( and that would be because the occasion calls for it in my opinion). They get to dress themselves top to toe to pre-school/ nursery once a week and I only see that they are not wearing bits that belong to pj´s ( they have tried!) and that they are warm enough or not too hot. Other than that I bite my lip and let it go. I´m pretty sure their teachers see the days they have chose their outfits completely on their own but sometimes they do come up with such pretty ensembles even I am surprised. And it is their taste and who am I to say I have a better one!
