All the best flowers are coming to season just now if you ask me. I already hauled that bunch of pink peonies you have seen in many photos from a work trip from New York but now they are here too! In London I stopped to smell some sweet peas and not long until the first lily of the valley blooms too. Here are my favourite flowers in random order…
Peonies. I love them in all colours and varieties. But the best are the big pink ones in a simple big bunch.

Lilly of the valley has the loveliest scent and such delicate flowers. They also bring good childhood memories to me.

A wedding look

Viime viikko oli ihan mahtava koska sain viettää aikaa ihana ystävän kanssa, nauttia pikkutyttöjen onnesta pyjamabileissä ja viikon huipentumana oli tietenkin rakkaan ystäväni häät lauantaina. Häihin on ihana valmistautua, valita puku ja asusteet, ehkäpä hankkia jotain ihan uutta. Laitattaa hiukset ja meikki ammattilaisella.
Last week was fun with the little sleepover, spending some time with a friend and the lovely sunny weather. But what I had been most looking forward to was one of my best friends wedding over the weekend. I love getting ready for weddings. Choosing the dress and accessories. Deciding on a hairdo. On the day having a professional come over to do your hair and make up. I started the whole pampering by going to the hairdresser on Friday to fix my highlight, a quota of girl talk, glossy mags and cappuccinos. Got my mani pedi´s done too. And on Saturday the lovely and very talented Laura came over to fix me up. So I was super excited to have some girly pampering time. But obviously the best part was the actual wedding. To get to celebrate the love of a person so important to me.
Kynsilakaksi löytyi mekkoon täydellisesti sopiva sävy, Essien ” Spin the Bottle”. Sävy on juuri sopivasti hieman beige muttei kuitenkaan liian. Kampaajalla join cappuccinoa ja lueskelin lehtiä. Kesä ei ollut ihan kuumimmillaan Perjantaina joten farkut, Converset ja raitapaita olivat sopiva asu. Onneksi lauantaina sää oli täydellinen! Kielon tuoksuinen vaahtokylpy oli sopiva osa hemmottelua. Lauantai aamuna kun ihana meikkipäiden Laura tuli meikkaamaan minua ja ystävääni ja myös laittamaan hiukseni tein meille kunnon vihreät superfood smoothiet. Pinaattia, avokadoa, banaania, spirulinaa, vehnänorasta, chia-siemeniä, sitruunaa, acaita, macaa ja vaikka mitä. Sisäistä hehkua myös!
