San Francisco

A photo collage of my trip to San Francisco. I had a wonderful brief visit to this beautiful city. The skies were blue and the sun was shining. Christmas was everywhere. I got some great tips from an Instagram friend whom I had coffee with ( at As Quoted  in the Presidio Heights area where they happened to have cookie decorating for kids that day, the Jolly balloon picture is from there) and she showed me around her hoods too. Pacific Heights was a gorgeous neighbourhood.  I found some cute little interior finds from Hudson Grace and Sue Fischer King. March was also a fantastic looking boutique. The children´s shop Dottie Doolittle was cute but my absolute favourite of them all was Mudpie. It had a great selection of  children´s clothes, toys, books, vintage finds, treats, antiques and cosmetics. I also went Christmas ornament shopping in a 150 year old department store called Gump´s. The Christmas layout was amazing and I found the Nutcracker decoration I was looking for to put in the girls Christmas calendar ( yesterday when we saw the Nutcracker at the National Ballet). I went to the Ferry Building where they had amazing food stalls and a farmer´s market going on as it was Saturday. Gorgeous! And I obviously visited Miette that was on my bucket list.

I wish I get to visit this beautiful city soon again! There is some sightseeing to do still!

p.s. That amazing soup tureen in Hudson Grace stole my heart. If only I had had a place for it in my luggage. Absolute perfection!
