Hemstitched

Sometimes happiness is finding something super extravagant and special to your home. Sometimes it comes in the form of a good old classic and some necessities. My friend Susanna reminded me of the Zara home collection and it is pretty good at the moment.  They have great old fashioned household items that I have not seen, or noticed before. But this time I ordered something I really needed. I love a good old hemstitched anything. These white coasters are as classic as they come and as we have marble countertops in the kitchen we are always urging everyone to use one in our house. I ordered twelve as I am looking forward to a better time when I can invite people to my home again and I am adamant to serve cocktails with pretty coasters. I also got a few place mats for the kitchen island as my girls have their breakfast there on week mornings and yet again we like to cover the marble with a little something. These look so fresh.

I love a fresh white anything. For a table setting as a whole white combo or mixed and matched with other things like silver or rattan, pastels, pretty blue or even with plenty of colour. But white things in general just make me very happy and calm. If you are on a lookout for something classic then these might just be it. So far all the things I have bought form Zara Home over the years have been good quality so I hope these live up to my expectations too.
