Birthday cake

Last Friday when it was Bubble Gum´s real birthday we invited the grandparents for some cake, coffee and bubbles. As with the morning photos the lighting in the evening was not much better and I had the guests waiting so I took a few hurried pictures of our table. It always feels a bit awkward to take photos when the guests have arrived. But I wanted to share them regardless. I made a very simple cream cake with whipped cream, strawberry jam, fresh strawberries & banana between the layers. I coloured the whipped cream pale pink to match the table. Birthday tray

Muutama todella surkeasti valaistu ja pikaisesti napattu kuva Purkan synttäriaamiaisesta. Aamuseitsemältä ulkona on vielä pimeää ja nappasin muutaman kuvan nopeasti ihan lampun valossa ennen kuin herätimme sankarin laululla, lahjoilla ja nallepannarilla.

Just a few photos of Bubble Gum´s birthday tray. I made her a teddy pancake per her big sisters request. The lighting in the pictures is horrible as it was still pitch black outside when we woke her up for nursery with some songs & presents. Please excuse me for that!

Happy Birthday Bubbalino

Tänään meidän suloinen pikku Purkkamme täyttää viisi vuotta! Olen aina syntymäpäivien tienoilla erityisen sentimentaalinen. Mutta toisaalta niin iloinen ja onnellinen!
