But not the sad and heavy kind. The kind where raindrops hop on your windowsill like playing a happy jazz tune telling you to get up, light up some candles and to have one more cup of coffee before you get your hustle on. The kind that tells you to wear your wellies and to secretly tap your toes in the puddles at the tram stop. The kind that turns in to a soft mist of water by mid day. Makes your hair curly and your skin glow. The kind that demands you to put some Duke Ellington to play in your ears whilst you skip to work or home or where ever your day may take you. It´s all in the perspective.
I´m composing you blog posts, here in my pantry with a candle on the table, Duke playing in the background and a pumpkin spice cappuccino in my cup. and I have a lovely birthday girl and her sister playing in the other room. Eight years today. Woken up with bunny pancakes in bed and a sparkler on her mini chocolate cupcake. Whipped cream on her cocoa with sprinkles on top and presents wrapped up with pink satin bows. Lucky little things she is. And so are we to have such a kind child filled with joy and love.
I hope you have a great day today!
p.s. Her dress in Nona K. made to measure and her ice-cream hair clip is from Prologue shop.
