I was asked by a reader to write about face masks. Obviously I don´t have any more knowledge about them than anyone reading online. I´m not an expert and this post is not taking any stance in if they are useful or not as there seems to be a debate. To me it does seem like common sense to at least try. In Finland we have a recommendation to use a mask in public places where you can not easily social distance from others or have to stay in the proximity to strangers for prolonged periods. Public transportation and busy grocery stores were examples. The recommendation is for kids over the age of 15 as it was feared that younger people might not know how to use the masks correctly and thus cause themselves more harm. My kids come home from school in a tram and even if they are under 15 we have taught them how to use their masks correctly and to wear them if there are plenty of others in the tram with them. Usually there are not at that time of day.

Voi miten ihanan laukun löysinkään itselleni. Siis haaveiden listalle odottamaan tarvetta uudelle laukulle. Kultaiset nimikirjaimet viimeistelisivät tämän ihanuuden joka sopisi loistavasti käsipuoleeni kun lähden kaupungille. Eikö vain? Hankitko vain merkkilaukkuja vai valitsetko asusteet ennemmin ulkonäön perusteella? Sen mukaan mikä sopii omaan tyyliisi parhaiten.
I really don´t need a new bag, but when do we really? I fell in love with this one and it would look so good with my initials embossed in gold lettering. Don´t we agree it´s very me?

Ihanaa viikonloppua

Onko sinulla viikonlopuksi jotain suunnitelmia? Meillä on saaressa ( taas) rakennusprojekti käynnissä, jonka etenemistä herra Espresso lähtee valvomaan. Tytöt taas ovat menossa lauantaina yökylään kavereille joten, emme voi lähteä mukaan saareen. Näyttää siis siltä, että minulla on lauantaina tiedossa harvinainen ilta ihan vain itsekseni. Mitäköhän kivaa sitä keksisi!
Minulta suositus sinulle, jos et jo ole katsonut sitä, on Murha Sandhamnissa joka näkyy Yle Areenassa. Tämä Ruotsalainen sarja on mielestäni hyvä ja maisemat Tukholman edustan saaristossa ovat niin upeat. Olen itsekin käynyt veneillen Sandhmanissa ja satama-alue pienine punaisine taloineen on todella idyllinen.
