What makes your kids happy? Mine are usually most content just hanging out with us. They love doing things like arts and crafts or baking, going out to play ( even just soccer with dad in the inner courtyard on a semi lousy day) or going to the movies or out to eat. As long as it is with family they are usually very happy. They also love being with their friends and most surprisingly they absolutely adore being with our friends. So our children are not very high maintenance and they are fairly easily entertained. They obviously also love new toys etc. like any child. Here are some of the ( more material) things they love at the moment.
They get very happy about little unnecessary things like jewellery and hair pins etc. I think most kids love these. Our favourite brand is MeriMeri as they are just what my girls love, cute and cool and make and outfit more fun. Here is pictured just a fraction of the things we have from the brand.

Duffle Bag

If you are a child of the 80´s like me you must remember nylon duffle bags. I think they were pretty much a part of the era. Lately I have seen duffle bags re-surface for adults too, maybe not all nylon but it seems they are somehow making a return. But these ones are very much like the 80´s bags I remember. Not in neon colours this time though. I found these in Paris at Rose & Théo on Rue du Bac and had them monogrammed for the girls as a Christmas gift as we had that Florida trip coming up but also because we needed good basic weekend bags for them. They are perfect for sleepovers at grandparents but also for hauling the skating gear to school on sports days. They fit the helmet and the skates and the extra layers and there is no worrying that the bag will get mixed with someone else´s. These are not available to purchase online but if you visit the store for an order they do ship the finished result.
The hot pink Liberty beauty bag is also from Rose & Théo and the other beauty bags are from Bonpoint. Just the right size for their hairbrushes, tooth paste & toothbrush, lip balm etc.

For the little fellas

I obviously often shop with my eyes open for cute things for girls but this American brand has great looking clothes for boys so I thought I would go away from my comfort zone and share some with you. Often brands have cuter clothes for girls than boys but with Janie and Jack I think the boys cloths are actually better.
Mitäs tykkäätte näistä Janie and Jackin poikien vaatteista? En toki ole mikään poikien vaatteiden asiantuntija, mutta mielestäni nämä ovat suloisia ainakin niille vähän nuoremmille pikku herrasmiehille. Useilla merkeillä tyttäjen vaatteet ovat ihanampia, mutta tällä kertaa olen kyllä sitä mieltä, että poikien valikoima on parempi.
