One piece

by Sofia   -   in Shopping

Can we talk about swimwear just for a little bit. I like bikinis, I do. But I usually find a one piece even nicer. And not only for the cover up purposes people often think one pieces should be used for. I think they look amazing on fit people too. Whenever I´m looking for a basic article for my cupboard I usually turn to J. Crew for it and for swimsuits they deliver big time this year. Here are some favourites ( and for you bikini lovers, they have a very wide selection, as for adult rash guards too).

Pretty perfect! I´m loving all the stripes, the long sleeved one and the blush looks amazing on the model ( I would probably look nude in it as that is pretty much my skin colour… unfortunately). That navy is so classy and the red one is so ladylike. The electric blue is not my favourite colour but the style is probably the most complimentary. Most of the models come in many colours, some in d & dd cups and you can also choose a longer torso. Brilliant!

Bubble Gum is a ladybug fan, much like I was as a child ( and many others I presume). So when I saw the ladybug shirt on Jacadi´s collection I had to show it to her ( online). She obviously LOOOVED it ( ” mom if I get that shirt it´s the only thing I need this summer”). So I had to get it for her. I went to Tallinn with my friend on Friday and luckily they still had her size. Now she is the proud owner of the ladybug shirt.

In my opinion it is a little pricey ( at 52€)  for a kid´s blouse, but it is lined, pretty ruffled linen with embroidered ladybugs on it. Besides it´s just so pretty and cute on her it´s worth it. It will be nice with shorts or pants and maybe also a skirt. She can even wear it to pre-school in the Fall with a cardigan.

Meet the ladybug shirt…

Beauty bagging

by Sofia   -   in Shopping

These beauty bags from Gauhar Helsinki are pretty awesome. They come in three different sizes; small, medium and large. From the outside they are linen with a pretty green detail but the inside is water resistant fabric. The big one is big enough to hold actual size shampoo bottles etc. or if you travel with your family it holds all the sunscreens and basic medications. The middle one is fantastic for smaller trips where you bring along essentials. It´s very roomy too. The smallest size is good for handbag make up or for hairpins etc. But having all three sizes is obviously the best scenario. The medium and large have a pocket inside them for a bit of organisation. I´m loving these! And the look is great as it´s simple so it matches my casual island style but is also elegant enough to slip in to my LV weekender to travel to St Tropez with me. I absolutely love these!
