The bigger the bow the better…

…says my friend and I agree! Well sometimes small bows are actually better but big ones are awesome too. I have some more bows now for sale. The same ones I had for my pop up last summer. This time I ordered some bigger bows too and a new model I really like a lot that looks a little like a pinwheel and it looks fabulous in hair.

Vintage postcards

Ever since I was a kid and my mother brought home a beautiful big box of reproduction Victorian era Christmas cards I have been fascinated with them. Etsy sells a variety of them ( some reproduction some actually vintage) and here are a few if you like them too. Just for a fun Christmas spirit…
This is actually not a card but a poster called “Wake Up It´s Christmas Morning” and I love it as the little sleeping girls really reminds me of Bubble Gum. It´s sold here.

Me hankimme olohuoneeseen kaapin syksyllä. Kaappi ei edes oikeastaan ollut erityisesti ostoslistalla, vaikka sellaiselle kyllä tarvetta ja paikkakin oli. Sopiva vaan sattui kohdalle. Näinhän sisustuksessa asiat usein menevätkin. Jotain kaunista tai juuri sisustukseen sopivaa sattuu kohdalle ja silloin sen aika onkin oikea. Tuossa se nyt seisoo olohuneen kulmassa jossa sitä odotteli koko tämän ajan sille juuri sopiva kohta joka kaipailikin jo oikeaa esinettä. Kuulen kuinka kaappi hymisee tyytyväisyyttään.
We found this beautiful grey cupboard this fall and although we were not really looking for one it was just perfect for our living room. The right size, the right shade and there was that corner spot we had been trying to get to look useful for a while. So there it stands now and I´m very happy about it.
If you are wondering what that unfortunate looking brown thing on top of our linen cupboard in the bedroom is then it is a feather dust. I have to keep it somewhere high as Bubble Gum loves to “dust” around with it and we find the feathers all over the house. I just forgot to take it down for the photo…
