Daydreaming

Sometimes I love to make lists on my head of things that make life soft, delicious and delightful.

I love white porcelain. If it has seen the world or has scalloped edges even better. I love using big white bowls for cooking and for food display. Anything from a pasta marinara to bright yellow lemons look great on white porcelain and it feels cold and warm to the touch at the same time.

I love the combination of dark red cherries and pink peonies. The colours and textures are tender, velvety, a little off together and so powerful at the same time.

I love the sun glistening through tree leaves or on top of the sea. Those rays catching my eyes like sparkling little bits of joy. To me it feels like the earth is giggling in a pretty rhythm. On sunny days I like to walk under trees and look up to catch the pretty display of happy emotions. You will feel like you are caught in the most beautiful movie.

I love sitting on a porch or by an open window when it´s raining outside. I also love standing outside with my clothes on if it´s warm and it´s raining hard. I love how it feels when the t-shirt gets wet and clings to the skin.

I love the milk foam on my first cappuccino in the morning. And my second… and my third. The soft delicious foam followed by the ever so slightly bitter, little nutty and preferably quite strong flavour of coffee. The combination makes me happy every single time.

I love the sound the sailboats make when the ropes hit the mast at night on the dock. 

I love a morning mist or an evening mist. When the world seems like it´s such a magical place and anything could really happen. But at the same time it´s always peaceful and calm like nothing bad could ever happen. 

I love the scent of sweet peas, lilacs and lily of the valley. I could live in a sea of that scent and be eternally in a joyous mood.
