Have a lovely June

I have had a little strange last few weeks. But luckily things are looking up now in a very positive way. My summer holiday starts on Friday which I must say I´ m looking very much forward to. First thing I will head out to the island with the family and just be. Enjoy the birds singing and the waves crashing and the wind howling. I will dip myself to the sea and I will count my blessings in tenfold. I will breath in and I will breath out. I can not wait. I will also take some time to compose a few posts for you! You are not forgotten! So this will not remain a space where I post a picture of flowers once a week. I have my camera full of photos but no time to edit them. So for now, for the end of this week I will be absent from here but not from Instagram ( did you see my new armoire?).
But for now I will say I hope your June will be amazing and relaxing. I hope it will be filled with moments to remember. And I hope you will be here to leave me your sweet comments even if you are on holiday as they do cheer me up!

Have a wonderful weekend

How was your week? I hope it was filled with happiness. Mine was not the best I ever had filled with work, worries and some sad news but there are always wonderful moments in even the toughest times. I´m hopping in to a long weekend today feeling grateful for my family and friends who I get to spend it with. I have my birthday tomorrow and I will celebrate it with cake, coffee, bubbles and the people who I love and who make me feel like a thousand bucks. Because that is how life should be lived. Enjoying the things you love the most with the people you love the most.
But first today it is time to celebrate the end of school year and the start of the girls summer holidays!

Pretty Liberty bows

Jos on vielä kesän suloiset hiuskoristeet hakusessa niin nämä Liberty kuvioiset rusettipinnit joita Nona K´n Katariina tekee ovat aivan ihanat. Nona K´n valikoimista löytyy aina jotain ihanaa, mutta parasta siellä ovat Katariinan itse ompelemat jutut. Hän tekee niin kaunista ja tarkkaa käsityötä. Teetimme hänellä kesän ristiäisiin aivan ihanat mekot jotka toki esittelen heti kun ne valmistuvat. Katariinalta voi toivoa omien unelmien mukaan täydellisen mekon ja toteutus on kuin unelma. Hän oli tehnyt juuri mittatilauksena mm. aivan ihanan Liberty-kuvioisen kesämekon. Se oli hurmaava. Kotimaista käsityötä parhaimmillaan!
Nämä ihanat rusettipinnitkin ovat niin viimeisen päälle hienosti toteutetut jopa kääntöpuolelta! Mielestäni suloisimpia asuja tytöillä on mm. simppelit sortsit, yksinkertainen t-paita ja pieni rusetti hiuksissa. Ja nämä kruunaavat tietenkin myös esibalettiin suuntaavan pikkuballerinan nutturakampauksen. Ne ovat myös ihania pieniä lahjoja, vaikkapa nimipäivänä tai kaverille kyläviemisenä, tai vaikkapa muistamisena hyvästä todistuksesat tai tsemppaamisesta kouluvuoden aikana. Rusettipinnit menevät myös näppärästi kirjekuoressa postimerkin hinnalla kun ovat niin litteät ja kevyet.
