Excited for right now…

… Lately my attention was caught by…
A traditional Christmas time drink glög designed by a Finnish chef Hans Välimäki. This year´s non alcoholic version is pink and includes rose, rhubarb, strawberry and spices. I really liked it! I think the spiced wine in this recipe or similar could be substituted for the glög. Mixing a tatin with a glög is very seasonal right now.
The movie Café Society. Have you been to see it already? I love movies by Woody Allen and am looking forward to seeing this one. I just have not had a chance yet.

Lattemamma 4 years!

I can´t believe I have been writing this blog for 4 years already! It has for sure taken some time but it has also given me a lot. I have found new friends, great friends through the blog, I have learnt new things and somehow the blog has encouraged me to grow in new ways too. I sincerely hope it has given something to you too. Inspiration and warm & fuzzy good feelings I hope. Positivity to your day and those pink goggles to ogle the world through with that little twinkling in your eyes. I hope it has also given you perspective. Life is not perfect, not anyone´s life, but we certainly can add those little moments of frothed milk on top and there is nothing wrong in enjoying the little things every now and then.

Excited for right now…

… I wanted to start a new recurring theme ( post) on the blog and share some things with you that excite or interest me at that moment. Like the weekend links-posts I used to share. These caught my attention lately…
I´m just off to the post office to pick these up for the girls. Are they not adorable? We are going on our winter holiday in two weeks ( before the winter even starts really…) and these will be perfect for that night flight with the girls little travel pillows ( and I always bring them my old large pashmina shawls as they are lightweight, soft and warm). I chose the blue gingham bunny for Bubble Gum and the blue & white striped bear for Cotton Candy.
This book is out in USA now and out in Europe the 1st of December. It´s not a secret that I´m a fan of Darcy Miller since the longest time and have been waiting excitedly for this book now. The wait is almost over!
