Peter and friends
by Sofia - in Random
You know I´m a huge fan of Peter Rabbit and all Beatrix Potter illustrations and stories. Unlike some other character loves of my life, these are luckily available as illustrations on many lovely children´s ( and even regular kitchen) items. Here are some of my favourites…
I ordered these letters for the girls´ Easter baskets this year. They can have them on the books shelf or on their school tables later on.
We also got this egg holder for the weekend breakfast table to have all year around.
The girls got these little spatulas when my husband was in the States. Are they not cute for little bakers?!
I ordered some things to the hotel for when I visit next time. Like this waffle mix!
This bowl is not only good for baking. I think it will be great for everyday salads, to hold fruit in it ( think apricots, cherries or plums for instance) or for movie night popcorn.
And last but not least I got myself this spoon rest for the simple reason I actually needed one. I´m really loving those kitchen details in this photo by the way. The marble table top with the aqua blue-grey subway tiles and the white grout.
Are you a Beatrix Potter fan? We have love the books and the DVD box too. Bubble Gum even had a Peter Rabbit 1st birthday party ( and she recently asked if she could have a new one).

Crafting with bunnies part 3
by Sofia - in DIY projects
Tänään vielä yksi printtailu linkki. Näillä munilla voisi vaikka koristella pajunkissan oksia virpojien jaettavaksi. Muistakaas muuten palmusunnuntai joka on tänä vuonna 20.3. Silloin pikku trulleja on taas liikkeellä ja suklaamunia tai muita pieniä pääsiäisherkkuja on hyvä varata palkkioksi.
Are you all bunny crafted up already? We also made these hanging decorations with our best friend Peter on them. Yet again it´s just a print and cut craft. Although to make these sturdier we glued them on watercolour paper first. You could hang these from some pussy willow branches. I did not have any yet so I used my tulips for now just to get some pictures for you, but they look a bit silly there. Hope you get the idea though ( and it gave me a chance to shoot these incredible beautiful flowers for you!). The template is here.

Crafting with bunnies part two
by Sofia - in DIY projects
To continue from yesterdays bunny crafting we made these cute little things to attach to straws or cups or whatever you like. I´ve bought pink card stock and little bunny tale pompoms ( but you could use cotton just as well) from a craft store. We used different templates for these and just drew them on the card stock and then cut the bunnies and glued the tales on these. They would make cute streamers too just glued on a string. The Boo template is from the Belle & Boo site and the other bunny from here.
Hyvää naistenpäivää!
Have a lovely day!
