Nespresso limited edition

We were taste testing the new Nespresso limited edition flavours over the weekend. These ones come from Ethiopia and Uganda. The lighter roast is a number 5 on their strength scale which means it´s fairly light and the darker one is a 10 making it pretty strong. The lighter, silky smooth, Arabica Ethiopia Harrar is more to my taste. My husband preferred the darker, stronger Robusta Uganda that he said had an interesting orange after flavour. Both are suitable for milky coffees like macchiatos or cappuccino´s too. I´m always happy to try new flavours on the side with my favourites!

Kielo (Liljekonvaljen)
Näin kerran unta, että olin taivaassa. Näin siellä kaikki ne kukat, tunsin kaikkien niiden kukkien tuoksun, jotka olivat minulle ennen rakkaita. Mutta maiset kukat olivat taivaisiin verrattuina kuin ne olisivat kasvaneet kuunkajossa eivätkä auringon valossa. Kielo yksin oli kaltaisensa sekä taivaassa että maan päällä. Sama viattomuuden väri, sama hieno tuoksu siellä taivaassa kuin täällä alhaalla, mutta täällä vain muutamia päiviä keväällä, siellä ympäri vuoden.

Have a lovely weekend!

Muutama aurinkoinen ja turkoosi lomakuva ihanan lumen keskelle…
Just wanted to share a few photos from our trip for the weekend. I´m very much loving the snow in Helsinki at the moment but I must admit I´m very easily transported to these lovely sunny and turquoise feelings with palm trees rustling in the wind. Vacations are so amazing. And this one was a really good one.
