Stripes, stripes, stripes

Raikkaat raitavaatteet ovat aina yhtä reippaan näköisiä niin lasten kuin aikuistenkin yllä. Kun olimme Youngest Fashionissä ostamassa nilkkasukkia kevätjuhlamekkojen seuraksi niin päädyimme hankkimaan myös muutaman ihanan kesävaatteen Condorin mallistosta. Nämä pehmoiset puuvillatrikoiset asut tulevat varmasti olemaan kovassa käytössä.
Nothing says fresh like stripes do. Especially in navy & white they are just a classic! We popped in to Youngest Fashion to buy some pretty ankle socks for the end of school year party and came out with new summer outfits! They had a great collection of stripy summer clothes in super soft cotton jersey and we could not say no to these. The girls are the same size so now we bought a few things to share and rotate. One dress, one t-shirt ( we already have skirts & shorts for it), a cardigan & some more cute socks. These will be used so much during this summer, I´m sure of it!

Löysin Nykistä uudestaan merkin, jonka olin aivan unohtanut, kun törmäsin heidän liikkeeseensä ihan sattumalta. Merkki on niin kiva ja varmasti myös Skandinaaviseen makuun, että ajattelin jakaa sen kanssanne. En ole ihan varma postittavatko he suoraan nettisivujen kautta Suomeen, mutta liikkeen myyjä sanoi, että se onnistuu varmasti jos heille laittaa sähköpostia.
When Cotton Candy was a baby I found this cute little New York based brand in Helsinki in a store that no longer exists. Then for a few years I forgot all about it until I stumbled upon their Tribeca store on a work trip about a month ago. It´s such an easygoing but pretty brand that I wanted to share. They do have an online shop but I´m not sure if they ship to Finland. But the teller in the boutique said that they sure would if you emailed them. I´m short one UV shirt for the summer and think I will pick this up on my next trip. Last time I bought the sweetest tunics and adorable necklaces for the girl and they match their swimsuits perfectly too. I also loved these dresses & the easy breezy flutter sleeve summer tops! In the shop they also had cute little toys and accessories for kids. A very New York brand if you ask me. A little classic mixed with a little modern, good quality fabrics and not very flashy. Not so childlike but still more than appropriate for kids. They also have great things for boys and especially for babies.

Eikö olekin ihanaa kun ilmat nyt suosivat meitä näin? Luulen, että kerrankin kukaan ei valita keleistä! Me teimme eilen ihanan potkulautaretken Kaivopuiston ympäri. Pysähdyimme Mattolaiturille syömään iltapalaa ( ja join pienen lasillisen kylmää roseeta lämpöisessä ilta-auringossa kuin ulkomailla konsanaan). Sitten jatkoimme siitä vielä leikkipuistoon keinumaan ja kipeilemään vaikka kello olikin jo lähemmäs kahdeksan. Purkka totesikin, että tuntui ihan siltä kuin olisimme jo kesälomalla. Siitä olikin ihana kömpiä iltapesun kautta suoraan nukkumaan. Tällaisiin iltoihin on parhaimmillaan juurikin tuon tyyppiset mekot joita Marie Chantalin kesämallistossa oli useampikin. There was an exhibition I was very keen on seeing whilst in London but unfortunately we did not have time to see it this time around. It was the Monet to Matisse exhibition in the Royal Academy of Arts ( it is already over). An exhibition from 1860s through to 1920s of beautiful gardens. I then later on read that Marie Chantal was inspired by the same exhibition ( and this book) when creating her Spring/ Summer collection this year. Here are some of my favourites from the collection.
